About the Radiographers Registration Board
The Minster for Health appointed the Radiographers Registration Board on 24 January 2012. The Register for Radiographers and Radiation Therapists opened on 31 October 2013.
The Radiographers Registration Board at CORU has statutory responsibility for the:
- Establishing and maintaining a Register of members of the profession
- Assessing, approving and monitoring training courses for the health and social care professions under the Act
- Establishing the code of professional conduct and ethics and standards of performance to which radiographers must adhere
The Board is the designated Competent Authority and is responsible for recognition of qualifications gained outside the State.
