Codes of Professional Conduct and Ethics

You are here: home › Public Information › Fitness to Practise Complaints › Codes of Professional Conduct and Ethics

The Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics sets out the standards of conduct, performance and ethics which a member of that profession must adhere to throughout the course of their work.

Each profession that CORU regulates will have their own Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics and all registrants must abide by their respective code. As part of the application to join a register, all registrants will have signed a statutory declaration stating that they have read, understood and agree to abide by the Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics for their profession.

Failure to adhere to the relevant Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics is grounds for a Fitness to Practise complaint.

Codes of Professional Conduct and Ethics for all registered professions can be found here.
