Registration Application Process

The register for Social Workers opened on the 31st of May 2011.  

The routes to registration are listed below.

Please note: Applications which are not fully completed are being returned. Please ensure you check your application thoroughly before submission as incomplete applications will be returned resulting in processing delays. Common reasons for return include:

• Application form being incomplete/ not fully signed.

• Copies of birth certificate/ passport photo page/ photos/ statutory declaration/ proof of name change not being properly stamped and certified (each must be individually stamped and certified by a practicing solicitor).

• Missing documentation. Applicants should check off each item listed on the checklist at the back of the application form, and ensure all which apply to them are included.

• Holders of qualifications obtained outside Rep. of Ireland who have not practised in the State
