Oireachtas Queries
A parliamentary question (PQ) is a question raised by a member of the Oireachtas (TD) for oral or written answer in the Oireachtas. The question is generally submitted for answer by the Taoiseach, the Tanaiste, a Minister or Minister of State of the Government. PQs can cover a range of topics from policy issues, service-related problems, individual personal matters or general matters of public interest.
A representation is an issue raised by a TD on behalf of a constituent or group of constituents.
Under the aegis of the Department of Health, CORU is subject to both PQs and Representations. If you'd like more information, please visit the Oireachtas website.
