Margaret Hynds O'Flanagan - Head of Recognition

The Recognition Department supports the Competent Authority function of the Registration Boards, including the process of assessing the professional qualifications and experience of those who qualified outside the State for compliance with the relevant Standard of Proficiency. The process is carried out in accordance with National and European law which involves adherence to strict timeframes and ensuring that applicants have adequate opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and competence. Margaret ensures that CORU’s procedures are in compliance with legislative requirements and in line with best international practice.
