Joseph McVeigh

Dr McVeigh is currently a Senior Lecturer and Head of Discipline of Physiotherapy at University College, Cork (UCC) and has had a long career involved in the education of physiotherapists.  He has held numerous committee positions with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and was a member of the Office of Research Ethics Committee Northern Ireland.

Dr McVeigh is an active researcher with many published papers and has supervised PhD students to completion. He has been involved as editor of various journals in the physiotherapy field and was recently appointed to Executive Committee of the Physiotherapy Research Society (UK).  Dr McVeigh is also a member of multiple committees in UCC, including current Vice-chair of the School of Clinical Therapies Athena Swan Self-Assessment Team.
