Executive Officer – Standards and Policy
The current vacancy is for a Policy and Standards Officer at Executive Officer level. Reporting to the Strategic Projects Manager the successful candidate will be a member of the CORU executive working as part of a small team and supporting the development and management of standards for all professions regulated by CORU, the establishment of regulation of the designated professions under the Act, as well as research and regulatory policy development.
The Strategy and Policy Officer is a junior management role within the organisation. This position presents a unique opportunity for applicants with the requisite qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience to join a growing and dynamic team.
The range of activities include project management, research, standards development, consultation management and customer service management including dealing with queries from the public and stakeholders.
Salary for the roles will be based on the Civil Service Executive Officer scale €36,044 to €58,834 (14 point scale & 2 long service increments).
Please Note: Initial remuneration for this position will be at the first point of the scale. This rate will apply where the appointee is not an existing civil or public servant appointed on or after 6th April 1995 or is newly recruited to the Public Service and is required to make a personal pension contribution.
Annual leave entitlement for the role as Executive Officer is 23 days and CORU operates a flexi-time policy. This is a pensionable position.
Hybrid working available subject to completion of successful probation.
