ELECTION OF MEMBERS FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE DIETITIANS REGISTRATION BOARD (S.I. No 387 of 2016)

Notice of candidates elected for each category
The notice of election of members for appointment to the Dietitians Registration Board and request for nominations of candidates for three electoral categories was published in the Irish Times newspaper and on www.coru.ie on the 28 October 2016.
The closing date for receipt of ballots was 5pm on 20 December 2016. The counting of votes commenced at 10am on 21 December 2016.
Members have been deemed elected in two electoral categories (Category 1 and Category 3) as the number of nominations is less than or equal to the number of vacancies in those categories.
Category 1
The following candidate has been declared elected in Category 1: Registrants engaged in the practice of the profession.

There remain two other members to be appointed by the Minister under Section 28(6) to compensate for the deficiency in the number of elected registrants.

In accordance with the Health and Social Care Professionals Act (as amended), 2005 the names of the above candidates will be forwarded to the Minister for appointment to the Dietitians Registration Board.
