Notice of candidates elected for each category

The notice of election of members for appointment to the Social Workers Registration Board and request for nominations of candidates for two electoral categories was published in the Irish Times newspaper and on the website of CORU www.coru.ie on the 6 May 2016.

The closing date for receipt of ballots was 5pm on  20 July 2016.  The counting of votes commenced at 10am on 22 July 2016.

 

Category 1

The following candidates have been declared elected in Category 1: Registrants who are engaged in the practice of the profession.

Category 2

The following candidates have been declared elected in Category 2: Registrants who are engaged in the management of services provided by the profession:

Registration No:  SW002165	County of Practice: Wicklow

In accordance with the Health and Social Care Professionals Act (as amended), 2005 the names of the above candidates will be forwarded to the Minister for appointment to the Social Workers Registration Board.
