Announcement: Launch of CORU’s New Registrant Management System

CORU is pleased to announce the launch of the second phase of its new Registrant Management System, which was initially introduced with the opening of the Social Care Workers Register on 30 November 2023. We wish to confirm that the new system will be available for all other professions commencing on Monday, 25 November 2024.

This updated system integrates the processes for international qualification recognition, registration, and continuing professional development into a single streamlined platform, providing significant improvements for all applicants and registrants.

  • Direct communication with CORU through the online portal.
  • A more efficient renewal process.
  • Digitisation of previously paper-based forms.

Important Information:

In preparation for the launch, the current Recognition and Registration systems will be permanently shut down from 6:00pm on 19 November 2024 and will no longer be available after this time. During this time, applicants and registrants will not be able to log in to complete applications or pay their renewal fees. This temporary shutdown is necessary to facilitate the migration of data to the new system. The new system will go live on Monday, 25 November 2024 at  9:00am.

We encourage all applicants who have started, but not yet submitted, their applications for international qualification recognition, as well as current registrants currently due to renew their annual registration, to complete their applications as soon as possible. Any incomplete international qualifications recognition applications or renewal applicants can be resumed in the new system after launch.
