Registration Board Notice of Election and Request for Nominations
As provided for in the Registration Board Elections byelaws, this is the official notice of the holding of elections on;
- The Podiatrists Registration Board and request for nominations of candidates
- The Social Workers Registration Board and request for nominations of candidates
- The Medical Scientists Registration Boards and request for nominations of candidates
Vacancies arise in the following Electoral Categories;
Podiatrists Registration Board
- Category 2: One vacancy for a registrant who is engaged in the management of services provided by the profession
- Category 3: One vacancy for a registrant who is engaged in the education and training of persons in the practice of the profession
Eligible for registered Podiatrists only, term of office to commence from October 2024
Social Workers Registration Board
- Category 1: Two vacancies for a registrant who is engaged in the practice of the profession
- Category 2: One vacancy for a registrant who is engaged in the management of services provided by the profession
Eligible for registered Social Workers only, term of office to commence from August 2024
Medical Scientists Registration Board
- Category 1: Two vacancies for a registrant who is engaged in the practice of the profession
- Category 2: One vacancy for a registrant who is engaged in the management of services provided by the profession
Eligible for registered Medical Scientists only, term of office to commence from November 2024

Members appointed to the relevant Registration Board will hold office for a term of not more than 4 years as specified by the Minister at the time of appointment.

The closing date for receipt of nominations is 12 noon on Monday 13 May 2024.
