Notice of candidates elected for each category

The notice of election of members for appointment to the Social Workers Registration Board and request for nominations of candidates was published in the Irish Times newspaper and on www.coru.ie.

The closing date for receipt of nominations was 12 noon on Tuesday 25 June 2024.

The closing date for receipt of ballot papers was 5pm on Tuesday 25 June 2024. The counting of votes began at 10am on Wednesday 03 July 2024.

The below member has been deemed validly elected.

Category 2:

The following candidate has been declared validly nominated and elected in Category 2: Registrant who is engaged in the management of services provided by the profession

In accordance with the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (as amended), the names of the above candidate will be forwarded to the Minister for Health for appointment to the Social Workers Registration Board.
