Claire O' Cleary

Claire is CORU's Interim CEO. As Chief Executive Officer and Registrar, Claire is responsible for leading CORU and for successfully implementing the Health and Social Care Professionals Council’s Statement of Strategy.

Claire works closely with the Council and its relevant committees and provides strategic leadership, direction and governance across all elements of the organisation. Claire is responsible for working with and co-ordinating the Registration Boards, to ensure protection of the public, through setting the required standards for the professions they regulate as well as supporting effective governance and regulation.
