Audrey Reddington

Since 2004, Audrey Reddington has been a qualified social care worker. She has worked with adults with disabilities, mainstream residential houses, a secure care unit and with Enable Ireland in respite services with children for the last 14 years.  She became a manager in 2016 and in 2019 managed two houses; one for children and the other for adults with disabilities.

Her passion lies with children’s services, and this is where she has remained.  Audrey volunteered with a CORU working group in 2015/2016 to develop registration for social care workers and has also worked with CORU reviewing potential college courses for social care workers.  In 2015, she undertook a degree in physical therapy whilst also taking on the role of respite manager in her full-time job, so multitasking is in her blood, but balance is key.
