Yvonne Lennox
Yvonne Lennox holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Policy, Master of Social Science in Social Work and Postgraduate Diploma in Practice Teaching, Supervision and Management. Yvonne has served as a Probation Officer since 2001, and in this role she predominately carries out assessments of risk and supervises offenders placed on court orders. In addition she has been involved in practice and policy developments in the Probation Service through serving on working groups, actively piloting projects and through her role as Vice Chair of the Probation Service Union Branch from 2014 to 2016.
Yvonne is also a practice educator, having provided social work placements for students of masters in social work and been a guest lecture on the Master in Social Work Programme. She is an active member in the British Association of Social Work (BASW) and Irish Association of Social Work (IASW). Her current passion lies in the continued professional development of the social work profession, social work practice and policy to assist in strengthening and highlighting the positive impact and contribution of the social work profession.
