Background

CORU is Ireland's multi-profession health and social care regulator. Our role is to protect the public by promoting high standards of professional conduct, education, training and competence through statutory registration of health and social care professionals.

CORU was set up under the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 (as amended). It is made up of the Health and Social Care Professionals Council and the Registration Boards, one for each profession named in our Act. 

CORU is undertaking a public consultation on its next Statement of Strategy 2021 - 2025. We are inviting submissions from the public, stakeholders and other interested parties on CORU’s Draft Statement of Strategy 2021 - 2025.

The consultation process will close at 5pm on Wednesday 18 November 2020. Submissions received after this time may not be considered.
