John Hayden

Dr John Hayden is a registered pharmacist and Senior Lecturer in the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences at RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences. He has been an educator of healthcare professionals at RCSI since 2012, with extensive experience in curriculum design, education leadership, programme accreditation, and quality assurance.

Before joining RCSI, John worked as a paediatric clinical pharmacist. He now leads a research group focused on enhancing medicines use in children and advancing the professional roles of pharmacists. He also serves as Deputy Chairperson of the National Research Ethics Committee.  John holds academic qualifications in pharmacy, research, health professions education, and corporate governance.
