Executive Officer – Recognition & Registration Departments

CORU are currently recruiting for an Executive Officer post within our Recognition and Registration Units. The Recognition Department deals with applications for the recognition of qualifications gained outside the State. The Registration Department deals with applications for those qualified in Ireland and applications for those who have had their qualification recognised.

The postholder will provide executive and administration support in the Recognition (international applicants) and Registration of CORU applicants by following and maintaining processes for registration of professionals, including project planning and implementation.

This position provides continued support in the CORU Operations Teams, including attendance at Registration Board meetings. The role of Executive Officer is to process applications in a timely manner in line with statutory requirements.

Salary and Further Information:

Salary for the roles will be based on the Civil Service Executive Officer scale €38,803 to €63,227 (14 point scale & 2 long service increments).

Please Note: Initial remuneration for this position will be at the first point of the scale. This rate will not apply where the appointee is an existing civil or public servant appointed on or after 6th April 1995 or is newly recruited to the Public Service and is required to make a personal pension contribution.

Annual leave entitlement for the role as Executive Officer is 23 days and CORU operates a flexi-time policy. This is a pensionable position.

Hybrid working available subject to completion of successful probation.
