Update to the Renewal Process – National Vetting Bureau (NVB) eVetting
As part of this year's renewal process, registrants will be asked to provide information about their National Vetting Bureau (NVB) eVetting status
Registrants will be asked to confirm:
- Whether you are currently practising in Ireland;
- Whether you are practising as a self-employed private practitioner;
- Whether you have been vetted by your employer or CORU within the previous three years
- The organisation or employer that most recently completed your vetting.
Registrants practising in Ireland who have not been vetted by CORU or their employer within the previous three years should take steps to update their vetting status. Where applicable, registrants should ask their employer to submit an application to the National Vetting Bureau for updated vetting.
CORU can assist registrants who:
- Are self-employed; or
- Are unable to obtain vetting through their employer.
Registrants who require CORU's assistance in updating their eVetting can select "Yes" to the declaration in Step 5 of the renewal process.:
|
"Do you require CORU to complete National Vetting Bureau eVetting with you? (Please select 'No' if you are currently vetted by your employer/organisation)" |
Once selected, CORU will contact the registrant regarding the next steps in the eVetting process. Please note that the National Vetting Bureau requires CORU to complete in-person identity document validation before an eVetting application can be processed through CORU.
If registrants you have any queries about renewal or eVetting requirements, please contact CORU at registration@coru.ie for assistance.
