The Register for Podiatrists opened on 31 March 2021. Podiatrists and Chiropodists can now apply for registration.

Please note, the transitional period for Podiatrists seeking to register via the grandparenting route came to an end on 31 March 2023.

Podiatrists/Chiropodists - Acceptable Qualifications

A routine application is included in Schedule 3 (of the Act), or on the HSE list (until such time as an approved qualifications bye law is made by the Board) or was recognised by CORU (or other Competent Authority in Ireland)

The Podiatrists Registration Board, for the purposes of Section 38 (2) (a) of the Act, hereby accepts the following qualification is acceptable for the purposes of application for registration:

B.Sc. (Hons) in Podiatry of the National University of Ireland
